Wood utilisation and wood construction
The FFF has participated in the funding of such landmark buildings as the Sibelius Hall, the Savonlinna Hall, the Joensuu Arena, the Ecumenical Art Chapel of St. Henry and the Pohjanmaan Nikkarikeskus.
Schools and young people
The FFF promotes the forest-related education of young people by, for example, supportings the production of learning materials, the arrangement of forest-themed days for schoolchildren and implementing forest-related projects under the 4H community.
Forest certification
The FFF funds forest certification in Finland and promotes awareness of the PEFC certification scheme in the main market areas of the Finnish forest sector.
Research
The FFF funds education and research projects that focus on the social and economic aspects of the forest-based sector.
Communications and PR
The FFF supports Finnish forest-related communications at home and abroad.
